Auto 5 Serial #'s

Serial numbers on barrel and receiver should match.

Four A-5's here and I know for a fact two were bawt knew.
Dad's old A-5 #'s don't match.
The new A-5 in three inch mag doesn't even have a serial number
on the barrel. Early 80's I beleaf.
The A-5 20..........nuh-ahh.
The 1963 A-5 light ..........gin............nahh-uhh, but the
letter is the same.

Crap chewt me pense.

Wonder if the dealers order a bunch up with different chokes, barrel lengths and swap
to fit the customers requests?
 
I think you are right LOOKY....They were nearly all 30" full, but others were available when you bought new guns.In those days, we used extra barrels instead of interchangeable chokes. Respectfully
