Does anyone know if their are physical size differences between the light 20 gauge and the magnum 20 and are they smaller in frame than a A-5 12 gauge?
I have a 2 Winchester model 12's and the 16 is a much smaller gun than the 12 and I much prefer the smaller size . I've looked all over the internet and haven't been able to find any info or even better , a side by side picture of the browning auto 5 . Thanks in advance for any help available .

Top is a 2-3/4" 12ga. and the bottom is a 3" 20ga. Both appear to use the same receiver. Hope that helps!

The receivers are the same within gauge, 20 is smaller than 12. The differences within gauge are in the barrel, recoil assembly and forearm.

I own both and can tell you that the 20ga model is built on a smaller frame and is lighter than the 12ga also the Belgum made guns are lighter than the Japanese made guns but the real Jem is the sweet 16ga model which was built on the 20ga frame. But only the sweet 16ga model the regular 16ga was built on the 12 GA frame. All the sub ga guns are nice if you can find them.

Thanks to all that answered my question. Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. Looks like the twenty or sweet 16 will be in my future .
