Auto bolt release problem

Hoping for some feedback, I installed a new VQ mag release extension and auto bolt release. All went fine, but it seems that the auto bolt release only works properly if I hold the gun vertically. I assume I am using it correctly. Any Suggestions?

Also maybe I am not using it properly, does anyone have specific instructions on how it should work?

Sounds like you let the spring inside slip during the re-install.

There is a thing wire spring that rests on both the Mag release and the auto bolt release; when you remove the parts the first time around it will slip off (due to it being a spring).
