Auto-Disk Powder Measure or Pro Auto-Disk Powder Measure

The powder hopper on my Auto-Disk Powder measure needs to be replaced.

Which system, Auto-Disk or Pro-Auto-Disk powder hopper provides more accurate results using the Charge disks.

I have owned both. I found the Pro Auto disk to be far better made & accurate. The older style where the screws threads into the plastic hopper are prone to wear. Lee replaced the hopper but they are the weak link in the design.

The Pro model resolved this issue with a far better design.

Go with the Pro disk Auto measure as it has that elastomer wiper which works better to take up the clearance
between the hopper & the base part where the 2 halves come together. The other measure will leak with some powders if you don't reduce the clearences. Both types measure the same if they don't leak! The only other thing I can think of is the pro can be shut off to remove the hopper without unscrewing the measure from the die & it does come with the quick change swivel adapter.....

Go pro and add the double disk accessory. Then you can do loads for rifle easier and more accurate. Like mine after the upgrade. Cuts the time in rifle loads.

Double disk plus chargebar is mint. I find it most consistent when both orifices are closest to the same diameter.

I have both as well and the PRO in my opinion is far better!
