Would anyone be interested in purchasing one of these little beauties? The photos are for illustration purposes only. Not of the actual piece.

I am in contact with the owner. He is in possession of all the reloading components necessary. I will put it on the Exchange if there is any interest. I realize this is somewhat irregular. However so is the pistol and it won't come cheap.

WOW, if those photos are of the pistol in question it's pretty much perfect, way out of my range, probably in the Strangeday price range.

Clarification

I am not a contributing dealer. I have volunteered to seek interest in this type of firearm for a third party. The photo is only for identification purposes. The actual pistol is of Sanford Arms manufacture. Overbuilt, under priced. The pistol is in its original case and a quantity of factory ammo. Reloading dies will be part of the package. Again, this is only a survey of interest. I will be posting detailed photos and documentation on the Exchange within 3 weeks.

Dear moderators I believe i may be entering a gray area. If you feel this thread to be inappropriate; please feel free to delete it. Any advice is appreciated.

Given the overwhelming curiosity regarding pricing I am presenting these links for informational purposes only.

Yes, the prices are high. These are listed in and for the USA. When was the last time you saw a .44 Automag?

To our Mods. Should this be inappropriate content, as it may violate the Board's hotlinking policy; please delete this post.

If your friend wants to sell it . List it in the EE at a ridiculous price . Then keep btt & lower the price a little at a time till it sells .
Selling a gun is not rocket science . Yes it is rare yes it is a high dollar gun . & yes it will sell when the right buyer is willing to pay the price . Be sure to post pic's of the actual gun in the ad if you want serious offers

Why not just post price instead of a link to parts for an automag?

Thank you for all the interest shown. Once I have processed and documented the pistol, I will offer it for sale on the EE. The parts are merely an indication of the potential cost of the pistol. They were the only indicator I was able to source; I've been looking.:slap:

Well, yeah they're pretty much as scarce as hen's teeth so pricing does become an issue. Also the more someone pays for a rare pistol the less likely they are to shoot it, so the fact the parts haven't sold is meaningless in relation to their price, people aren't blowing thousands of rounds downrange through their Automags, so things are less likely to break (not that the pistol is fragile either, they're designed for what they shoot in a way that most modern 40 cals. aren't).

Everything i have read about the Automag suggests they are "tempermental" firearms and not really noted for their reliability. That being said, I still want one.
