Automatic Annealers in Canada?

Has anyone found a source in Canada to purchase the Giraud Cartridge Case Annealer or an equivalent?

He states he can't ship outside of the US due to ITAR.

He's too ####ing lazy to get your money then.

My money says ITAR dos not give a damn about his tools. But it is easier to blame ITAR than to fill out a couple forms at the post office.

Look in the EE and see if you can find the Grizzly Annealer. Canadian made, so no dealing with cross border laziness.

He had an ad in the reloading section, dunno how far back you may have to go.

Could be wrong but I think "Grizzly Gun Works" in Troy Ontario makes them, just outside Hamilton. If it is his baby, Jeff is a great guy to deal with.

I believe he does ship the Giraud caser trimmers to Canada, wonder why the annealer is not allowed?
 
Looks pretty good to me... Might even be able to adapt the Dillon Case Feeder to auto-feed the Grizzly.

Do you have any examples that your owners have done to add a case feeder?

I could not find the annealer. I kept scrolling the picture to the right but I never got to annealer before my mouse finger gave out. :D
 
i was looking at giraurds machines and i see that their not caliber friendly like the grizlly machines you have to buy a machine for each caliber

That is an inaccurate statement.

There are 5 different colour feeder wheel discs and 3 different trolley plate sizes to go from .223 all the way to 50 BMG.

The discs cost $20.00 each and the trolley plates cost $10.00 each.

If you purchase the machine ready for 1 calibre then for an additional $100.00 you can have the 4 additional discs and 2 trolley plates you're missing.

I'd love to get my hands on one.

Giuard cannot export his annelers because they are classified as "automatic reloading equipment" vs. his case trimmers which are manual. Granted that does not explain Dillon progressive presses. Either way, I just ordered his case trimmer and a bunch of case holders....no more slow hand trimmers for me soon:D
 
I'm going to stop by grizzly and see if we can adapt a Dillon Case feeder assembly to the plate. That will make the grizzly as good as the Giraud in my eyes (I'm all about speed and automation lol).

Now to find some free time lol!

Let us know if you have any success adapting the Grizzly to a Dillon case feeder.

I'm seriously considering the Grizzly and I would love to hook it up to my case feeder. :D
 
I bought the grizzly, and you can reach jeff at jeff@grizzlygunworks.com or phone 226-208-1200. I found it better to do it by e-mail, he was really quick to respond. I have yet to use it, the wife wants her kitchen cupboards built, before anything else gets started:owned: but he does have a video on youtube.
