hi all

i've got an automatic shotgun that dimples the primers slightly when i cycle the action? is this common? should i send it back and get a new one?

check and see if it has a free floating firing pin, same as what an ar15 would have.... if it does then that normal.

if there is a spring holding the firing pin, usually goes over the firing pin then I would say you have a weak spring

Here's what It says in the manual. Maybe yours was put together wrong?

thanks guys, baikal said they would look at it, but if its not gonna cost much maybe i should just have it looked at locally, gonna cost 25 bucks to ship it there. they may even send a new gun but honestly if this one works i don't care. doesn't seem like a big deal, guess its mainly just a parts issue.

Id send it in for a fix or maybe a new 1. Why pay for a gun smith to look at it then have him need to order parts, then pay for more service to fix it.
