I was thinking the same thing Todd and have done extensive reading on the product. I've come to the conclusion that I'm going to save up a bit more money and get a higher quality brand, namely an Atlas.

I think on the Cabelas web site there are product reviews by folks that have bought all of the various trap machines they offer for sale. I read many of them a couple of years ago and not too many positive things were mentioned about any of the lesser expensive auto target throwers. FS

Go look at them at BPS. Look like an absoulute flimsy piece of junk to me! If you have your heart set on electric, go Atlas. If you can get by with a manual then go Lincoln or Bowman! I have used or owned all 3 of them now and they are hard to beat.

I concur with the two above posts. I was just talking with one of the owners (Scott) of Atlas the other day and he told me they ship to Canada quite frequently.
One of my main questions was to have the machine wired for 110 instead of 12 volt and was told that wouldn't be a problem and will be done for me at their factory before being shipped.
Anyway, after reading reviews for the past year or so on the many different brands available, the phone to call with Atlas sold me. When the funds are available and I am ready to order, I'm going to get the Patriot model, (but I'm really wanting the AT250!) In the mean time, I'll just keep using my manual or hand throwers when I can't get to the range...

Are you expecting to use the machine for heavy weekly use? If so, get a heavy duty machine and would advise something heavier than an Atlas Patriot. If you are looking for something for weekend use for yourself and maybe a buddy, get the Do-All or Champion Easy Bird. If you can get them shipped to the US and then bring them over you can get 2 for the price of one Atlas. Throw in an extra $150 and you can get the wireless double remote. If you are looking at Do-All, get the White Quail. They have been making machines for quite some time and have improved their product. Customer service is superb.

have an Atlas 250. It is a reliable machine that work quite well.
