I just picked up a Polish Flare Gun from tradeex and this thing seems awesome. I have found some smoke and flare rounds online but not a lot of availability. I see some guys in the US reload 26.5mm rounds with all sorts of things. Does anyone here reload 26.5 or know where to pick up ammo or components? Thanks,

Tradeex does sell an adapter to convert the 26.5mm flare to 12ga flare. They are out of stock currently though, anyone know where else to find one? In the US they have steel sub caliber adapters to fire live ammo but I dont think they are legal up here.

I saw some at Dlask and ordered a few smoke rounds.I haven't looked for them in the past, do they popup at dealers regularly or is this a rare occasion?

I bought 15 parachutes and 9 smokes when Dlask advertised them. I went the next day after I saw their ad, on my way to work.......

The rocket flares look pretty sweet but you need the rifle size flare gun to fire them by the looks of it.

The tradex flare guns that Ihave bought are 25 mm flare guns, A 26.5 flare will not fit.
I have made up some adapters for the 25 mm and for the 26.5 mm flare guns that will allow the use of 15 mm Tru Flare bear bangers, whisltlers, and flares. (centerfire flares, not rimfire)
Pm me.
One thing to keep in mind is that the flares for these guns have corrosive elements in the propellant and they need to be cleaned with hot soapy water.
Some of the tradex flare guns also have a very weak hammer strikce so that they may not ignite 12 gauge flares, or Tru Flares in an adapter.

The Polish flare gun I picked up from tradeex measured out to 26.68 so size is good. The hammer seems to strike with a nice force as well. Aside from the ridiculous styling of it, it seems well made and heavy. Part of the reason I'm so excited to use it. Thanks for the tip on cleaning it.

Do you know about reloading 26.5mm shells? I see guys in the US load them with plastic projectiles, it looks like fun but am not sure its something we can do up here.
