Available stock extenders?

Need to increase the LOP of a stock significantly, 4-6" due to optic modifications. Traditional slip-on recoil pads seem insufficient. Modification needs to be temporary and easily done.

Something like this with more length would be good.

How about one of Ian Robertson's adjustable butt plates?

Wow, 4-6" increase in length of pull is a *LOT*... are you sure you'll be able to shoot the rifle (reach to bolt, trigger, and loading port) if you do this?

Any chance of mounting your scope differently (further forward)?
