So I have been trying to find some mags for my T 97 that fit and function properly in my gun. I ended up buying some 10/10 round asc mags from a local store to try out. I bought 2 and both did not fit in so I tried the vise trick where you sqeeze the spine so it will fit. Got them to fit no problem but when I did a function test the mags kept falling out of gun. So I had on order some 10/20 mags from Irunguns and they showed up today. The fit and finish on these mags are great. I bought 4 and all fit into gun with no problem and all dropped free. Ok off to function test. Shot 20 rounds per mag with no problems. The only thing was if I put mag in slowly it would push round up in mag. Slap the mag in and no problems.
So if your looking for some great mags for your T 97 these seem to work best.

In order to get the 10/10's to fun flawlessly, I first did the gradual vice spine squeeze, then with a small file, I enlarged the square cutout on the mag by about 0.5mm (on the top, when the mag is standing upright). Initially it was juuuuuust shy of engaging the mag catch, so with a few minutes with a file, I got it to the point where you hear a nice loud audible click when inserting the mag because initially the cutout on the mag was not going high enough to clear the mag catch. Hope this helps.

Yes I could have fiddled around with the mags but figured the 10/20 ones didn’t need to be fixed at all.
