I was in Port Coquitlam on a business trip and was talking with a fellow sales rep when the topic turned to guns. He just got his PAL and was intrigued by the prospect of the SKS. Because of this forum, I knew Wanstalls was just down the road in Maple Ridge. So we borrowed a car and headed there over lunch. I cant say enough about how well we were treated. The sales person ( sorry I didn't get your name) took time to explain all about the SKS while letting him hold one and look it over top to bottom. All the ones upstairs were the forced matched stocks so he went to the storage room and hand picked my buddy an all matching one, for the same price!
Because he had flown in from Calgary they then took his shipping information and are sending it along with free shipping. He then proceeded to show us some guns that they have exclusives on, even though we both only had our non- restricted.
I have never had a better experience in a gun shop, ever. Way above and beyond good customer service and you now have 2 customers for life. Thanks again!
 
I was in from 82- 89, good times. I just wish they were about 3,000 kilometers closer. On the other hand I might go broke.
 
Definitely one of the best stores customer service wise that I've ever been to (not just gun store), these guys have no problems answering all your questions and taking time to explain things. Super fast email response, and best of all they don't try to pressure you into a sale (but then again, do you ever really have to be pressured into buying a gun?)
 
I want to post my positive experience with Wanstalls. You couldn't ask for a better online store to deal with and I've dealt with quite a few. They provide quick excellent service. Recently I had a question about the Viridian laser system that they're selling. I had my response back within 24hrs. Keep up the good works guys...
 
I drove down last summer to look at and handle a CZ858 before I bought. It just took me a few minutes before I bought it. Thinking back the easy going and NON-elitist attitude of the sales person helped make the sale.
 
Yeah - the guys at Wanstalls are a good bunch.

Walk in the door and someone's gonna say 'hello' - and then get back to you when it's your turn - even if your foraging around in the back someplace.

Equally important - they really know their stuff and stock some pretty cool firearms - KRISS, Swiss Arms, Glock, IWI Tavor, Wilson Combat, Nighthawk, Les Baer, Core 15, ...

Lastly - their advice is invaluable - always honest and correct - or it's not given.

They have my business.
