Axis XP SS scope mount and rings help

Hi all,
My friend picked up a camo axis XP SS in .270. He would like to mount a Bushnell extreme scope on it which he plans to apply a camo shrink wrap to. So he is trying to find a one piece set of rings in camo. Talley shows a one piece ring set in camo under New England firearms, but doesn't show any camo or one piece rings under Savage.

Anyone know if the New England rings would fit on the savage? Or are there any other options out there?

Just a follow up question. But why does Talley list their rings under different manufacturers? I was under the impression that the bases mounting holes are specific to the rifle then once the base is installed any Weaver rings would fit on the base. Is this correct or incorrect?

Be very specific about which model of Savage you're working with, specifically that it's a long action, which should require the "Extended" version of Talley rings. Note also whether the action is flat in the rear position, or rounded same as the front. Pretty sure the Axis is round front and back, if I recall correctly.

Lastly, if you're removing Savage's factory installed bases (Weaver style, but not made by Weaver), be ginger with the allen head screws...the internal hex where the wrench fits strips very easily.

FWIW, for anyone looking to replace the Savage bases with Weavers, you have to replace them as a set. Weavers are a different height from the ones Savage installs.
