So funny story as to how I purchased this shotgun....

Couple weeks ago a bunch of us went bush camping. I brought my UTS-15 with me. I tried it at skeet shooting and did pretty darn good with a full choke. I wanted my buddy to try it out and he really didn't want to as he said he would want one... I persuaded him to try it. He LOVED it!!! Well he started to look at shotguns and was looking at tactical semis.... He started to show me the ones he liked based off YouTube videos. The next thing you know I'm researching the heck out of all the different brands (all though they are all basically the same) Derya, Typhoon, XTR, etc... I was also looking around for the best price. So I ended up purchasing the Axor MF-2 for $800 shipped to my door! I couldn't resist the price. I had to have one!!!! Once I receive it, I'll give a good review and let you all know what I think. I know from what I read on a few websites that the Derya & Axor share mags. So I can purchase more 5rd mags no issue. There sure isn't a lot of info on the Axor on the web, so fingers are crossed it cycles good and I have no issues. Oh.. my buddy never did buy a shotty! lol.

Looks like it showed up today. However I had to leave for a 21 day stint away for work yesterday, go figure...

Does anyone have any feedback on this shotgun? I talked to P&D, & they said they brought a bunch in which sold like hotcakes!!!!!!

Got home tonight. I must say this shot gun appears to be very well built. Came with 2-10rd mags, 1-5rd mag. Adjustable stock/cheek & foldable stock, 3 chokes. I'm going to buy an Ergo Tactical Deluxe Grip, & Fab Defense Bi-Pod Forgrip. I'll post up pics & review after shooting once I figure out how to post pics now Photobucket is done....

Just some info for anyone interested...

I have read that the Derya MK10/MK12 magazines will fit the Axor (Bullseye in London states this on their website). I was at Wild West Shooting Range in Edmonton and they have Uzkon BR99 mags & one other brand very similar (started with a T I think). Both mags fit into my shotgun, but sat a "hair" lower and were cupped to accept the .12 gauge shell where the Axor mag is flat. I didn't want to spend $60 and potentially have issues so I passed. They didn't have any Derya mags in stock or I would have tried them as well.

I talked to Bullseye on the phone. They confirmed that the Derya mags fit and cycle well. They had no 5rd mags in stock. So I purchased some from another vendor.

I've got a 100rds of 3" BB to break er in.... Can't wait....

Well I must say that I'm impressed. After reading about other brands and their issues I only had 1 to speak of. I fired off 75rds of 3" BB. It cycled perfect, ejected perfect, however every few mags on the 5th shot I would get a light primer strike. This happened a few times the more I fired the gun. Keep in mind I didn't clean gun from factory. I just took er out! I can tell it could use a good go over now. Loading the magazines sucked too. The high brass kept getting hung up on each other...

Heres a link to the first 5 shots!!!!!! (I forgot earplugs & had to improvise! lol)

This evening my buddy (guy who got me onto this shotgun) & I tore the gun down to clean it. The owners manual sucks, but we figured it out. Now that we know how to get the cocking handle out (thanks to a Derya disassembly video) it was super simple. WAYYYY easier than a Derya.

Only issue I can see being a problem on disassembly is that there is a small o-ring in where the barrel attaches to the receiver. It popped out. This can potentially be damaged and need replacing. Other than that stupid simple.

I'll try it out again and see how it cycles/fires. IF I continue to have issues with light primer hits, I have a plan on how to fix it. I'll have to take a dremel to the hammer! There is a stopper, which will need to be ground down which will increase the distance of the hammer causing it to push further onto the primer.

Seeing how there is limited info on this shotgun, I'll do my best to post what I can on here & YouTube!

This morning my buddy & I got to get out and do some shooting. I picked up 200rds of Walmart specials... The el cheapo rounds would fire fine, but not enough ummph to push the bolt back far enough to chamber another round. I polished of the last 25rds of the 3" BB and ran into the same issue of the 5th shell light primer strike. However after firing other ammo, I attribute that issue to the actual shells. All other shells fired PERFECT! So I won't buy that again. I had one slug jam up for some odd reason but that was it.. Cranked off around 60rds.... So the grand total is roughly 135rds. I was shooting low with 3" slugs. I raised it up & at 50yards I have it shooting a tad high (as I want it). 25yards bang on. I LOVE this shotgun. Super fun to shoot! Cant wait to get home and install the new Ergo Tactical Deluxe & Fab Defence Foregrip!!!!!!

Heres a couple links to some small video we took....

Well I have the new Fab Defence G2 for grip/bi-pod. She's sweet! The Ergo Tactical Deluxe didn't fit like I wanted it too however. I tried to modify it... = FAIL. So the factory grip back on. Picked up 250 3" rounds from Cabelas today. That should help with the break in. The Derya mags seem to fit & align with feed ramp. I'll post back after I try them out. While at Cabelas today I was surprised to see an Axor MF-2!! They wanted $849.

Who did you buy yours from?

Sorry for late reply.. haven't been on here for a bit. I purchased it from Durham Outdoors in Ontario..

I had the shotgun back out while on a 5 day deer hunting trip. I can confirm the Derya mags work fine.

HOWEVER..... I'm starting to get frustrated myself now. First time I shot it, I was getting light primer strikes. Then cleaned it, cycled fine, started to act out, but shot slugs PERFECT. I didn't clean it and took it on my 5 day trip with LOTS of ammo. Well started to get light primer strikes again with 3" #2 Win Shot. Slugs acted out too! Also had jams on both factory & Derya mags. I'm going to totally field strip the shotgun, inspect everything with a fine-tooth comb!!! LOVE this shotgun, but if it doesn't cycle 100% of the time.. no good. My father & I shot 200rds out of my UTS-15 and never had 1 issue! That shotgun I can TRUST! I'm going to change up the brand of ammo I'm using too. Everything so far has been Winchester.

Hey guys. I'm really hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I think I've found out why I had an issue with it cycling. The barrel is ported where it slides onto the gun. Well there appears to be 2 rubber o-rings which are now gone. First time I cleaned it, I did notice one o-ring was damaged. Next time I cleaned the gun, o-ring was gone. I tried to replace it, but it's either not the right size or something.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Make any sense?? I can take pics to show as well....

After a bit of research I found out I'm talking about the gas piston. Is there supposed to be an 0-ring on it? And is there supposed to be one inbehind the piston where it seats?

I figured it out. O-ring sits inside the gas block in front of the piston. I used a size 10 which fit perfect but was a tad thick. Getting the barrel on was a challenge. I verified it is wasn’t damaged. However it will need to be replaced everytime shotgun is cleaned. I’ll try to locate a size 10 but little thinner. Now to try er out.

So somewhat reliable? This type of turk shotgun, be it the typhoon, MF-2 etc.....seem to be a real hit n miss when it comes to reliability.

IF I get this shotgun to cycle properly, it will be fun as hell! But yes, so far, I've only been able to fire off, oh sake of argument 100rds without issue at once. Since then, it's been a pain! I'll do what ever I have to, figuring out how to make it cycle correctly.

As an aside, all my Typhoon F12 mags cycle in my Derya Mk12 without issue.

I have two of the 5/10 round Derya mags. They are a bit finicky and need some spot welding. If I grab the mag and push it forward while firing, it cycles fine. I did notice the followers on the 10-rounders are different than those on the standard Derya mags. Less angled. I took a follower out of one of my Typhoon mags, and tried one out of the 5-rounder Derya mags, both in the 10-rounders, and it worked without issue. Since both options lead to an increase in angle of the follower, I guess the flat follower is the issue.
