AXTS AX556 and AX762

Anyone else read about these new lowers coming out? They certainly look very appetizing... Fully ambi with all sorts of nice little touches. Pictures are on AXTS's website; the resolution on them are too large to post and display nicely, except for those with a WQXGA monitor.

Price isn't for the thin of wallet... MSRP is $429.99 USD for the AX556 lower and mag/bolt release system parts.

So, who'll bring them in?

Though honestly I'd rather by a KAC lower, if someone should get them in.

Awesome looking lower! The ambi controls give it a very cool look too. as for the price? Why not, theres nothing wrong with high end stuff. It looks like the're marked 'multi' too so they should be good for import.

Ambi parts come with the price tag, I think. Mostly just have to buy the small detent springs and pins, and the trigger, of course. You'd hit $700-ish if you installed a Geissele trigger, though.

Well, an ambi billet lower from Mega Arms is $231 USD. If AXTS is farming out the parts (which they probably are) to a machine shop that is geared up for and experienced in making receivers, and to one good at making bits and pieces, $430 for stripped lower + parts isn't unfathomable.
