can anyone tell me more about it???

Thanks, Justin

AYA builds shotguns for Safari Arms and other importers to sell as as O.E.M with their own name on them.
very common practice.
My Tikka 412S is made by Marrochi and has "Valmet" on the recoil pad!
My son's Mauser 73 is made by Gamba....

does that make them less valuable, or is there any lessor quality?
No less quality, but a little less valuble to collectors.
A C.I.L. 900 is still and Anschutz 54 222 centerfire ,no matter how you slice it,
yet the blue book value of it is a few hundred less than an Anschutz.
Same rifle, different stock sometimes, and for sure , different brand name!

It's not unusual for Spanish makers to produce guns for someone else's label. AyA has done it often and I've seen their guns under a variety of labels including the now-defunct Skinner's Sports in Toronto.

Here's a website where you can find out more about the date codes, proof and makers mark on your gun.

I should have it in the next day or two. I just wanted to make sure that $300 for a aya side by side was a good price , the seller says its in great shape, but every one thinks their gun is the best. we'll see

thanks, Guys for the info
