AYA value

The rib, nestled down between the barrels is designed to basically disappear when you focus hard on your target. If you notice the rib you are doing it wrong, North American style, or the gun doesn't fit properly according to Churchill's fitting system and he was one of the finest gunfitters ever. It still works with the proper gun and fit but it isn't instinctive to most of us today.

I find it strange that we turn our noses up at barrels that are about 4 or 5 inches shorter than the current trend on a very well made and attractive gun and then discuss in several threads which Turkish or Chinese coach gun is best...LOL

I love coach guns and prefer them over most other doubles, but don't like that the Chinese one doesn't have external hammers actually hitting anything. It that Aya was a coach gun it would sell fast, but not at 1000 dollars.

I don't like that the Chinese one doesn't have external hammers actually hitting anything either.
Whatever that means.
@ $1000 that gun would be sold in seconds but OP wisely decided is not for sale.

He means that the hammers are simply cockers and don't actually hit the strikers when fired. I believe Baikal has a fake external hammer gun like that as well.

Not to worry gandalfe, that gun needs no modifications to find a market and sell in the $1K range.
