B 25 FLIGHT Tomorrow at Brandon, MB *UPDATE*

I don't think that's the same plane we were in. Is it also part of the CAF? I herd somewhere there were only 10 operational B17s left. Really nice to see these things still flying!

Sentimental Journey is the CAF B17. Aluminum Overcast is with another group called EAA (Experimental Aircraft Assoc)

The B25 Maid in the Shade is CAF.

Just saw they will be here in Kenora in September. Had to book a front jump seat... but ouch, that was a hit to the wallet!
Can't wait.

When you're in the plane and and the engines come to take off speed you will sooooooo not care about the money. Let's get real, I'm sure we have all converted way more money into smoke and noise by buying ammo and guns. You can make more coin later but how many times will you get fly in a WWII aircraft!?

Exactly! Was a quick decision I don't expect I'll regret.

Did the walk through tour of Sentimental Journey last year when she was at the Lake Simcoe Regional Airport. The marketing needs work as I heard about it the day it was leaving for Hamilton. All I can say is the aircrew must have had balls the size of watermelons during the war years. Not pressurized so cold as a witchs ***, cramped for sure as my rotund frame had trouble moving around, loud and for the poor souls stuck in the tail or belly ball turret, they had to be bat####crazy.

My grandfather was a bomber pilot for the RCAF. Flew wellingtons. Trained in Manitoba. If this was offered in Toronto, I would do this in a heartbeat.
