I don't have the APC 308, but I bought an APC 9 about a month ago, I know it's a stretch but I can speak a bit regarding the platform. And holy #### it's amazing. Everyone who has tried mine at the range wants one for themselves.
Mechanical accuracy on it is insane, handling and ergonomics are great. - You can do pretty much everything you want/need while keeping your hand on the fire control system, fully ambi as well, and you can easily switch which side the charging handle goes on. In terms of recoil mitigation it's also amazing, my brother has an fx9 and the recoil is substantially less on the APC despite having a barrel which is drastically shorter. Recoil feels like an airsoft gun.

My buddy has one as well, his lower has a lever bolt release, my lower has a bolt catch below the trigger guard (similar to the g36) and a button release below the mag release. They're the same model, just different lowers interestingly enough.
Having one, I can say it makes me want to buy an APC .223 and 308. I think I saw some online at Wolverine and firearms outlet a bit back, and I'm REALLY wishing I pulled the trigger.

Cause you said please... ;)

I got one as my main hunting rifle.

I was originally going to go with a traditional bolt / sako carbonlight. but I had the chance to get one and couldn't resist.
They are pretty rare.

Pros:
* Wolverine Supplies imports it, they are arguably the best gunstore in all of canada.

* Reliability wise, they eat all the ammo I've tried, no issue aside from pmags.

* I'd say around 1 MOA probably could shoot sub MOA with match ammo, haven't had the chance to try yet.
Feels like a laser beam compared to my Tavor7 and my dads Rem700

* Great QC I also have the APC223, same perfection. I have seen people with issues but I think those are ironed out.

* Really they are the nicest rifle you can buy imo in terms of quality, fit and finish.
This rifle will make you feel funny inside if you are susceptible to that.

* With correct cleaning procedure they can be simply wiped clean. Gas is all contained to the block/cylinder.

* Basically A Flawless soft shooting laser beam once you figure out the quirks. I have never had a ftf/fte since.

* Even though its a cow, they did balance it - its perfect, points great.

Cons:
* BEEFY BEEFY weighs around 13.6 lb With my nightforce 3.5-15 and a light mount with NO attachments ( all stripped )

* You want replacement parts or have problems.... yer gonna wait for em! Everything is from Switzerland!

* These guns imo are not really "beaters" its important to clean them well to keep the action smooth ( at least until 500rd break in or so )
Any debris inside you will feel!
Treat it like a closed system ( which it is ), first few times I went out I used more lube until break in was done.

* They are quirky and sensitive, for example the pinned pmags that came with the 308 cause jams... why? I have no idea yet.
Everything is machined extremely tight, and that comes with its own issues.

* It was important to find the armorers manual for the 223 and learn where they recommend grease application.
I use TW25b to prevent the gas cylinder from locking up - this is an issue especially on the 223, however if I shoot like 300 rounds out of my 308 that can happen too. luckily I don't do that very often cause it costs like 400$ lol.

* The stock is... not the best. mine is tolerably wobbly
I have a dan haga adapter / ACR stock coming and I'm going to put that on the 308 or 223.
I did get the cheek riser for the 308 and it makes it slightly better - but its still not my favourite. maybe I have to blow another 600$ on ANOTHER adaptor.
Bear in mind, either the dan haga stock combo ( 600$ ISH ) or the buffer tube adaptor ( 200$? just for the adaptor ) is just another extra cost.

* If you don't like cleaning and maintaining your guns I wouldn't recommend this rifle... However that being said I do plan to take this out hunting and probably scuff the #### out of it

So here I am, I bought this because I could and saw it up for grabs.
Originally I was only gonna get the 223, and get a normal hunting rifle like a normal person.

I'm still not even sure if I want to keep it. but every time I think of selling it and take it out I feel... that feeling and have to keep it.
Its heavy, but to be honest I'm a 6ft guy and p strong and can shoot it offhand.... so....

So the question I have to ask you is - do you have 6k ( maybe even like 10k for scope and stock ) laying around?
This is basically like buying a rolex and I think that really is it.

Can you get a nice rifle for less?
YES
Can you get a smooth shooter for less?
YES
Can you get a well designed rifle for less?
YES
Can you shoot sub MOA for less?
YES
Are there better rifles in terms of purpose and reliability?
YES!

But none of them are b&t's....

Here is a photo of the lovely couple, apparently I hate money :ar15:
