Howdy gents!
I just received my SPC9 and the upper is very noticeably dark blue while the rest of the rifle is black. Is anyone else's rifle like this?

The upper is blued metal while the lower is plastic....

Yes mine is like that, the aluminum finish is slightly different.
As mine has worn its actually becoming more of a similar color

The coating on the upper is extremely strong - it may be DLC or something. instead of anodized.

You'll notice as your bolt wears the upper barely has any marks inside.
