Hi Fellas
With applying for an LEH and then getting a Shared Bull Moose Hunt you want to be successful as you never know when your going to get drawn again . I have been reaching out looking for different options on where to go in 7-25 .

I have hunted there before about 6 years ago but we were not successful !

We are going to hunt the rut and I will be calling in hopes of bringing a bull in as I have my calling dialled in ,but if there not there well….

Any of you fellas got an LEH Bull Moose draw ? What direction of 7-25 did you hunt ? Were you successful ?

Any help would be appreciated !
Thank You !

Live in 7-25, good luck, very busy area, VERY heavy indigenous population. Your competing against a lot of year round hunters here, many subsistence hunters in the area between the fort and all the reserves around the lake.

Were you hoping locals would share their honey holes with a lower mainlander? facebook has groups where traveling hunters share this info very publicly but soliciting it is a big ask...

Good luck, that place is an absolute zoo during hunting season between the traveling hunters and fall rush in the forestry industry

I’m not asking for honey holes but more directionally ,you know NSEW of that MU ! I don’t do Facebook , maybe I should LOL !
If your ever in need of a little information on an area I have hunted I”ll see what I can do !
Take Care

I'd suggest downloading Google earth and using it to "scout". Probably some good YouTube on how to use the program.

Get as far from a road as you are comfortable doing and bring a 2-way radio and call on the roads

Yes will do ! I have a radio as I do not like the idea of meeting a logging truck head on or caught by a sweeper .Logging truck drivers appreciate it when you have a radio and use it !
