I have been trying to find out the BC for the Nosler 338-250 grain Accubond. Nosler has not returned my email. They do list the BC for all the lighter 338 Accubonds, but not the 250. Anybody know, or care to hazard an educated guess?

Where are you shooting? What's the altitude? What's the temperature? Humidity? Velocity?

BC is a made up number to convey relative pointiness. It depends on so many variables that it's essentially irrelevant. They'll eventually tell you it's somewhere up around .600 or thereabouts. Wicked pointy.

Didn't know they even made a 250 Accubond for a .338. If they do, the BC should be through the roof - .600 or very close to it, SD of .313, but I'm pretty sure the only common 250's are all flat base.

I switched last November to a 250 gr Accubond with 92 gr Retumbo on my Lapua and can find no finer bullet! It will shoot long range very well (had it out to 700 no problem at Genessee) and is supposed to be good for hunting. I say supposed to be only because I haven't shot anything other than paper and metal gongs with this load.

Cheers!

I got myself a box of these last week and intend to do some load development soon.
I hunt cariboo long distance and find the Lapua naturalis a bit pricy.
Anyone tried it in a T-wolf?
I use H-1000
Is Retumbo powder available again here? I tried last fall to find some without success.

I don't know, Retumbo is hard to find. I know a store owner who had a bunch in the back and I bought it all. Can't find more, anywhere  I also cleaned him out of all the RL 22.

RL 22 works wicked good on a 338 Lapua aswell.
