B.C. mulls return of grizzly hunting in controversial report

You’ll have to forgive me for taking a paper backed by radio carbon, and DNA analysis from Oxford & Max Planck over a post on the internet that finds it very inconvenient. You may not be pleased with it, but it’s real.

Sometimes , scientific findings are just a lot of conjecture on the part of someone building a resume, usually its, a study has shown----but more is needed.

Grizz

Right, because 26,000 years is twice as old as the other oldest remains, it is also twice as old as that area being ice free and is even 10,000 years older than the oldest estimates of the area being ice free. It is also from a river with all that entails dating wise.

Grizzlies were too smart to get trapped in the Tar Pits until 6,000 years ago and never occupied the Eastern Woodlands.

Nobody else is hanging their hat on it, because it is highly dubious.

My money says it is closer to 2,600 years old than 26,000.
