I have learned that the roads going into the Management Unit 6-02, zone B, Tweedsmuir Park, British Columbia, was, years ago, closed by a local float plane operator, in order for him to create more business for his fly in service of hunters to this particular region ?
Few years ago, I did drive up to these multiple road barricades, made of tall log debris, blocking any attempt to drive on the road, into the zone B of Management Unit 6-02, and even made it impossible to drive, when using a fourtrax.
My first thought when I came to this unexpected man made barrier was: Our government closed this road in order to create a sanctuary for the local wildlife ! I chocked to learn that this kind of commercial vigilantisme against hunters, is being tolerated by the British Columbia Government
