I just got off phone with Brownells and comfirmed that they are able to ship this trigger to Canada. Anyone have this trigger in their ar?190USD for Geissele S3G like trigger(no laser engraving, spot check only, and using the G2S style of hammer pin installation).......umm~I need more feedback!

Hi,

I got the Brownell exclusive Geissele 2 Stage Enhanced Trigger (B-G2S-E) and it`s very nice. However a bit pricey after the custom tax and Canadian $ exchange rate ...

Thanks

I have a Geissele S3G and an SSA-E.
The S3G is a faster trigger for follow up shots no doubt but it feels like once you begin pulling the trigger you're committed to taking the shot.
With the SSA-E even though the trigger pull is light you have a definite separation from the first to the second stage.
It doesn't feel like the sear engagement is hanging on by a thread if you decide not to take the shot.

So did you end up ordering this trigger? I'm considering it as well but I can't find any reviews on it. I'm assuming it should perform just like a S3G.

That is my feeling on the two triggers as well, and that is why I prefer the SSA over the S3G. I can still pull out 0.12 split times without too much work with the SSA, which is about as fast as I practically need to shoot. Even with the S3G I dont think I can get much faster anyways.

.12 that is fast especially with a SSA. Do you feel you have more control and accuracy withe the SSA over the S3G? I'm desiding on one or the other.

I haven't shot the S3G in my own rifle, so frankly it might not be a fair judgment, but I feel fine being accurate with the SSA trigger even when pushing for fast split times. There is something about the 2-stage that I really enjoy and really works for me.
