Anyone have any experience with B.Rizzini guns?
Iv'e been slowly upgrading my guns and have been considering a BR110 in 20ga.
I don't hunt with my O/U so i'm looking at standard weight gun. Also considering Fausti, FAIR, Beretta, and Fabarm, I already have 2 Fabarms, but kinda wanna try something different. Durability is important as I shoot skeet twice a week.

Don’t overlook the Browning 725, 20 Gauge. Got one with 32” barrel for Skeet and Sporting - great gun

Was in a similar position and upgraded to 32” guns for my O/U’s

I have a Rizzini Round Body 20g, its the best looking, best shooting gun I’ve ever owned. I was primarily a Browning buyer/shooter for years, owned many Citoris and I shot them very well. Fell in love with this Rizzini and had to have it, and ive sold every Browning i owned since. I use mine for 5 Stand, and even though its a fairly light, it shoots so well it doesnt beat up my shoulder after 4 rounds. Ive had no problems, and no complaints about my Rizzini.

A friend of mine has a Br110 sporting 12 guage and loves it. I shot a few rounds through it a number of years ago and really liked it as well. I've considered getting one for myself a couple of times but I just never saw the right opportunity and got something else at the time but I haven't ruled one out yet. The only down side that I see with them is that they aren't all that well know, at least not like a B gun or Guerini, etc, so the resale value isn't as good and a used one might be a bit harder to resell but this isn't much of an issue if you intend to keep the gun for a long time.

thanks for the replies, While i do still own a Citori, Brownings i find to be a bit clunky and bulky. The only Browning iv'e ever enjoyed shooting is my 16ga. I don't ming much about resale, as i will be trying to find a used one and keeping it for a good while.
The Round body had caught my interest, but i do find it a bit pricey for such a plain looking receiver, top notch lumber though.
who makes after market extended chokes for Rizzini?

I owned Aurum 20 gauge. Beautiful gun. Shot awesome. BUT...the blueing on the end of the foreend wore off the third time I used it which also happened to my first hunt with it. Made my hand turn straight black. Then the break open lever began to get really sticky and then would barely move at one point. I really had to force it to open the gun. Then the lever began to stay all the way to the right when I closed the gun. I had to manually move it back to neutral position even though the barrels locked up.

Sent it in for warranty to Fierce Firearms who is the importer of the gun. They told me the bluing wear was because of use though I only used it twice for clays and on one three hour hunt. And they did not put the gun together to try the opening lever. They told me it was normal for it to be all the way over to the right......its obvious they meant when it was closed as a new gun should have the lever sitting to the right. However they never tried it or looked at it. The gun was gone two months and sent back with no work done to it.

The importer rep told me he'd never seen the problem before. But he did not care to actually put time into having it addressed. I would guess that for the money that I spent on a fancy Italian Gun that if they had a problem they never saw before then they would address it, but this was not the case. I contacted Rizzini directly and they said they were going to work out a solution with the north American rep. That was three weeks ago. I have heard nothing since. I was forewarned of the problems with service and warranty issues but I took the chance and it turned out not so well for me.

Like I said beautiful gun.....until you look and see the barrel mono block is an exact copy of a Franchi Instinct, or the Instinct is a copy of the Rizzini.....and then see that the awesome engraving of the pheasant on the side is the same as the one on the Browning Maxus Hunter. It looses alot of its alure and wonderlust at that point.

Worst decision ever to buy that gun. I hope others have better experiences. I have since sold the gun and replaced with a Citori 725. The Browning is awesome and Ill never look back.

Thanks for the info, that is a completely unacceptable way of conducting business on the Part of both Fierce and Rizzini. I Decided to go with Fabarm, this will be the 3rd one in the safe.
Very disappointing to hear that about Rizzini, i was very interested until i read that.

Yup, the Fierce guys in Canada who are the first screen for warrantee fully admit they have no knowledge or way to service shotguns on behalf of Rizzinni USA. I also was warned of this when I purchased a 28 gauge that arrived with unfinished forcing cones. Sent it to Quebec took better than a month for them to admit they had no idea or ability to fix it. In fact their warantee guy thought a forcing cone was a replaceable part they might order. I finally got permission to call Rizinni USA. They key me choose a replacement from what they had in stock and sent it to prophet rivers importer in I got it no extra cost to me. It had hundreds of dollars of upgrades from what I initially bought including round body action. The only way this all came about, though, was because I knew what I was seeing and talking about and had the time to pester the right people until I got results. The top dog at Rizinni USA talked to me on the phone told me what he had at let me choose which replacement I wanted. Beautiful gun but I would not deal with Rizinni in North America ever again. If you live in Canada you will find out you can't get a new Rizinni even if you wanted one unless it is one of the few Prophet River has left in stock. Hint, don't buy a 28 gauge without looking at the forcing cones first.
