B&T AG GHM9 9x19mm

Next week I will be in Germany for the IWA Show, so much for retirement! We will be sitting down with Karl and going over all the details, I will report back here after that. In the meantime please keep all the questions coming.

I already put a preorder on this puppy.

I am curious though if you can confirm the stock that it will come with.
From the website, the standard stock seems to be the one similar to TP9. With the one shown on the diagram on first page says "
GHM9 with optional folding ergonimic shoulder rest" ( google translate.)

I will be able to answer in detail after my meeting with Karl at IWA, I will find out what options we have then report back. I have put our first order on hold until we know all the details.

So I guess the end of April early May won’t happen now since your putting the first order on hold?
 
Can you possibly ask if they intend to do a 45acp version? I'll settle for a 9mm but I am a bit of a 45 fan boy so if it's in the works or being considered I'd be willing to wait.

It seems there is now new information about the GHM9-G model:

  • "... [supports] any magazine, plus aftermarket magazines, from the 10 round Glock 26, to the Glock 17 and 19 magazines amd up to 32 round magazines usable."
  • "The new lower is available as a lower only in order to upgrade existing APC9 or GHM9 weapons and of course as a complete weapon with APC9 or GHM9 upper"
  • " ... the “–G” systems, which will be available from late 2018"

I'm very excited about this product, questions for John:

  • The picture above is of the compact model, can we get a full length GHM9-G?
  • Will it come with the ergonomic stock or the wire one (the telescopic seems to be an expensive upgrade-only option)?
  • The article mentioned "specially developed new lowers which accommodates a double column Glock magazines", are there any issues with 10rd single stack Glock mags like we use here for capacity limited G17s?
  • Does the bolt-hold open still work with any Glock magazine?
  • Does the GHM9-G require a new BCG to work with the Glock lower?

So it will be available as a complete firearm with a Glock compatible lower.
