B&t apc 223 pic thread-range report page 4

I think prophet river and wolverine must be like the two main stores I'd wanna buy from! I haven't purchased anything from wolverine yet but I can tell it's the place I'd wanna do so :)

Mine just arrived. Very nice. I could see some taller guys (i'm barely 5'11") not liking the ergonomics.....front heavy but that just means I need to hit the gym more and of course, the quality barrrel. Iron sights seem perfectly fine to me. Scratch and blemish free. Very impressed with the fit and finish on the receiver. Nice compact carry case.

Sorry for the personal question. Was this a result of military service for Canada?

Yes. 2008, a command-detonated IED while on a village sweep mentoring the Afghan National Army on combat operations in Zhari District of Kandahar Province. Both legs gone above the knee, among other physical injuries. Sh#t happens when you play for real by big boy rules. No regrets.

Thank you for serving Canada.

Mr. Files....... now I know you know better than that.
It was within the seven days, we have been in communications with him as well, we would not leave someone hanging like that if they were wanting to return a product to Wolverine. Be it a $10.00 part, or a couple thousand dollar rifle, we will work with everyone as best we can.

Our return policy:

RETURN POLCIY / PRIVILEGE:
Your satisfaction is important to us. If you need to return a product we will make every reasonable effort to satisfy you.

All goods are sold with a seven-day (from receipt of order) "no questions asked" return policy.
The customer is responsible for return shipping unless the exchange/return is due to error on our part.

In all honesty I would have never guessed that and didnt know that.

In my opinion thay is excellent to know. It makes me love shopping with you guys more now just incase sething happens or I change my mind.

I was figuring it was almost like a trade in value afterwards on it but since it is not THUMBS UP to WS!!!!!

My thanks to you sir for your sacrifice and service. My family and I appreciate you!

I seriously dont understand why anyone would sell a rifle like this within a week of buying it? Aside from financial troubles, why go through the hassle of ordering, blogging, bragging and advertising non stop only to sell it for a 400$ loss a week later without even shooting it. I mean, might as well have saved money and bought an airsoft rifle for all the cool mall ninja pictures.

I mean im not trying to dog anyone here. Im just genuinely curious as to why such a quick re sale on such a nice rifle

to each their own I guess
Im not selling mine, it is exactly what I expected so far
gonna put some rounds through it next week and see how she does, if she stays between 1 to 2 moa with factory 55 grain ae im keeping her forever, if she doesnt then we will see
I have abunch of ARs that are my light rifles, light is not what this thing is intended to be

Mine is a keeper too, later on this year will do some medium distance run'n gun with it.
Moving onto waiting for 9mm and 308 semiautomatic, fun stuff.

Not to derail but what goes on in this "classes"? Someone can PM me if they like, too.

It usually adds a few scratches to your gun :) and it super fun ;)

3.5 Day course focusing on skills refresher and advanced skill development for users of semi-auto pistol, rifle, and shotgun (optional). Covers techniques adopted by special operation forces in maintenance, loading, reloading and clearing procedures, malfunctions, transitions, shooting on the move, from cover, from barrier, and marksmanship that include proper sight picture, mechanical offset, rifle manipulation, safety, shooting stance, and body position. Small Team module covers fundamentals and some advanced techniques for teams operating in dismounted roles. Use of static vehicles as a base for exfil and cover may be expected. As an adjunct to this, individual and buddy first aid will also be covered.

I finally took possession of my rifle, and it is every bit as beautiful, smooth, front-heavy, chin weld low stock, and Swiss as my fellow early adopters claim. Trigger is short and crisp. The buttstock is solid, despite SHOT Show claims. No pictures, but I can assure you it looks every little bit like every other NR APC223-SA.

Some other thoughts: Low red dot mount feels too low for my face and I think an absolute cowitness mount would work better, but I don't have any kicking around.

Congrats!
I am setting mine up for a cross between SR and DMR. She will be fired from either NM stance or off the bipod resting on some kind of barricade, depending on what imaginary fun stages I am setting up for myself. The balance point being in front of the mag-well will work great for that. Not planning on too much Costa CQB with this firearm, I have other guns setup for that kind of running around.

I will probably set mine up for mostly longer range shooting, too, but I want to put a 1-8 on it, when funds permit, so it can be flexible, since this is my only .223 (at the moment). Trying to do CQ shooting with an 11 lbs setup will be... interesting... Work those shoulder muscles.

Not enough pictures in this picture thread....

Taking it out this weekend to finally shoot. Maybe I'll get some pics of it not on the floor

Sounds pretty advanced for me lol are there "basic" classes?

Dilli is talking about the Veritac course. Running in Victoria this May long weekend. It is an advanced course taught by current SF guys. You might want to check out PhaseLine Green Tactical. I think they offer more basic courses in their curriculum.
Too bad you're in Alberta or you could take part in DSS Match and TAC Rifle here in BC! Our CASE course offers a basic one day lesson in safe use of a black rifle in IDPA and IPSC scenarios.
