B&t apc 223 pic thread-range report page 4

Yes we did, but we will not be doing exchanges in the future. Short barreled restricted models will come with the break and the long barreled model will come with the flash hider. Any changes will be extra, we need to standardize to keep cost down. They are lock righted on and need to be heated to remove.

It would apear from the threads I have read we have many sasified customers, that is good. These are extremely well made rifles.

I think we'd all agree that the initial reports are positive, the guns appear to be well made and should be plenty accurate. So kudos on bringing them in.

The one thing that does appear to be a question mark and has some buyers on the fence including myself are the stock options. The current design is obviously a bit low. It would be helpful if we have some additional info on the options to correct this.

B&T advertises a cheek rest (BT 36371) on their website. Unfortunately it doesn't appear to be compatible with the standard folder (BT 36360) that is coming in with these rifles. It works on three different stocks from what I can see however only one of these (BT-36360) appears to be compatible with the APC so it appears that a new stock is needed to use the cheek rest?

I'd suggest that it would be helpful if you could post a few pics of one of these rifles set up with a cheek rest and offer your opinion if this is a suitable fix.

Thx

There is one with AR adapter and PRS stock. I think in wolverine's vendor forum. Looks awesome. PRS though is a heavy stock.

I will put mine together with the PRS at some point, its hobby so not a priority though.
I won't be printing paper groups from a bench though anytime soon, a couple decades later if I am still alive and retired and can no longer run around to shoot positional I will switch to bench shooting.

Why would you put on a PRS stock for running around?
Don't shoot groups from a bench but put on a heavy bench shooting stock? I don't get it.

Few folks were asking about stock height, check out the pictures below, this gives you roughly and extra half inch height. this stock is available at this link: https://www.wolverinesupplies.com/ProductDetail/BTHBT3636036371_B-T-Foldable-Retractable-Stock-For-APC-c-w-Cheek-Rest

The answer is DMR.
Most of the silly civvies SR shinny coins I won were using A2 and PRS, fair bit of rundowns and positional there. The Hbar NM ARs I used were all fair bit heavier than the APC, I even put lead in the A2 storage compartment.
