ya so...they only had a batch of 1/9's..which i loved because i wanted to shoot a litlle lighter loads like 55'62 grain....the rest are going to be 1/7's..this is a fact...also check the wolverine website for info
Ever since the 1/9 info came out there has been negative opinion expressed by people on CGN, I am guessing those folks are eagerly waiting for their 1/7 getting shipped.....

honestly all in all i'm not picky this gun is great....with the findings i'm not surprised took some time and explanations with some things...i'm sure most of us knew when we ordered it that the stock wasn't the most impressive. i like the trigger, it could be better but give it time this is fairly new wouldn't be surprised to see an option or two come out. as for people yelping about it being heavy...it's a well made barrel that's 18"+ and not thin which is great, that's how it goes. looking forward to wolverine and B&T putting that prs stock together though! i have a few kinds of 62 gr ammo ill be testing next week ill try and get some pics post results! i have the 1/9 barrel. i wanna take out my H&K SL8 out and compare...they both have similar 1-6 mag scopes on them should be fun.
For ~$3500-4000 on one rifle I'm picky....the 1:9 twist barrel rubbed me the wrong way but the deal breaker was the stock.
Not just the lack of proper height and LOP but as a lefty, unless you keep your face far enough back from that hinge, you risk eating it on recoil.
This is the type of stuff that leaves me wondering if the B&T engineers who designed this thing are shooters or accepted shooter input in the design.

yah the stock sucks
ill hold on to the rifle since i likeother things about it but i need to fix that stock
Did you talk to anyone about making an adapter for the ACR stock?
yah i sent ramy an email, I wanted to pass by with the rifle and my acr stock last week but i was swamped at work, ill see if hes free this week.
Yes, of course .223 has recoil, which is very minimal on a 9.5 lbs (heavier with glass and accessories), soft-shooting rifle. I'm nowhere closer to eating the hinge shooting left-handed than the latch, right-handed. It's a non-issue, in my opinion.
I'm curious, how bad did it hurt your face? I tried it and it did not cause any ill effect, I was using about the same hold as LAV did. Perhaps you can share a photo of how your are holding it and the impact point to your cheek? I would like to understand, thanks.

Btw, to the previous post about the finishing marks in the ejection port. If you watch the slow mo portion of LAV's video I think I see the same marks. If that's the case that would mean it's not unique to the Canadian version.
Hi all,
I was just wondering if any other APC 223 owners noticed an issue on the finish near the front side edge of the ejection port. The finish my my rifle seems to be chipped off in two places and I didn't notice this when I purchased it... Does anyone else have the same issue by chance? Not sure if there is anything I can do. Just really hurts to notice this on a brand new, unfired $4000 rifle...Thanks.

The latch doesn't protrude like the hinge does. If the fixed length of pull suits a shooter and allows for a comfortable cheek weld away from the hinge, it would be a non-issue for a lefty too. If the stock was adjustable then it would fit more people.
I've only shouldered it. It is very similar to a G36k size butt stock.
