b&t APC

Oh? And here I thought there was going to be a semi-auto only model made available. Silly me!

Sad to say our application to have the APC-9 classed as restricted (non-restricted) has been turned down, still prohibited. So now up to B&T, we have to see if they want to sink any more money into further developments for our very limited market.

Would you be able to tell us why it was classed as a prohib.?

Just curious and want to understand. Not looking for a fight or crying about it.

Thanks

Their whole point is based on the ease of converting her to full auto. Unlike some other guns that are accepted, that will take drop in FA parts (I will not point any fingers, so don't ask) some work would be required before FA parts would fit in the APC-9. Getting new designs approved is proving to be tougher and tougher, but I am not about to take up stamp collecting. I have not given up entirely, but this is not a cheap gun and is limited to 5 rd mags so sales are not going to be very brisk, I would understand if B&T left this one.
