could you do me a big favor? could you take a picture of your bolt catch and post it? id like to see if yours is clean or shows those two divots like mine.

Mine does have the two marks, but they are far less pronounced than the picture above - they're basically just scrapes in the finish.

Mine does not show any visible wear, I have used various brand mags, polymer and metal, 5 rounders and LARs.

same. LAR, pmag gen 2 and 3, ASC mags, hera, lancer, old school colt, and the og ones that came with the rifle. took photos of all of them actuating the catch, non seemed to "over actuate" past the normal point.

i heard back from wolverine in regard to my initial detailed email. unfortunately after they looked over my info, they've asked me to ship it back for them to inspect. so that sucks, just waiting on they're RMA confirmation so i can send it out.

It looks like the damage from the bolt catch is due to the rifle failing to lock back and the bolt lugs slamming into the top of the catch. I had his happen with a rifle and had to replace the catch eventually
