B&T APC308 DMR 480mm barrel

As the US Army selection for Close Protection Teams, the PC-9K is optimized for concealability over shootability/comfort. Where do you place your support hand? A Mag well grip is pretty much the only option. I personally much prefer the extra 4" of barrel length and front-end real estate found on the standard APC-9. YMMV...

The 223 version was a disaster. 308 wouldn’t be much of a difference.

The NR .223 "DMR" version is quite front-heavy and therefore a bit unwieldy. But in its original carbine configuration with the short Barrel, the APC .223 is an entirely different animal. In that form it is handy, extremely accurate, and very smooth shooting thanks to the rear Hydraulic Buffer. The weight is entirely manageable and helps to soak up the modest .223/5.56 recoil. The basic carbine is significantly enhanced by an adapter block allowing the use of the ergonomically superior Bushmaster ACR Buttstock. The enhanced carbine is one of my favorite shooters for exactly the reasons stated....
