So I bought an NR APC-223 a couple years back but I always preferred the native look/feel of the restricted 10" model. Finally pulled the trigger and bought it and I'm happy I did. The 18.6" version felt nose heavy, like they had stretched the design to accommodate the status.

Thought I would share some Swiss goodness...Anyhow, enjoy the evening ya'll.

Yes that is one firearm I definitely regret selling!!!!

Lol, if only we had unpinned mags with select fire in Canada. Then it would be very fun to play with.

Heck Id buy one again. But the NR version left a bad impression on me and was nowhere as nice as I expected.

But due to our stupid restricted rules I guess Il never own a cool one with a shorty barrel :)

I quite like mine...

Whoops! Must have too many firearms if I am becoming confused by which is which. That, or it's early onset Alzheimers... Anyhow, here is proof that I belong in this thread, Dammit!!

Looked cool. That was the only thing I ended up liking about it. :) Grip went too high, hand interfered with safety. Stock... chin weld, even with T1 in loooow mount. Forend felt like a 2x4. For my money, the Swiss Arms lineup is much more ergonomic for me.

The only beef I have with these is the safety, it's like a 25lbs pull and can dig into hand a little.

Anyone have a fix?

Sorry, but nope - my Selector Switch operates with ease just like any other firearm so equipped. Perhaps something like a loose primer is jammed in your Trigger Mechanism that is making the operation of your Safety Lever difficult?

Really? I recently "rediscovered" mine and found that its accuracy with 62gr ammo rivals that of my HK MR223. Very impressive performance from such a small package. My home-brewed Cheek-Riser made all the difference for me when mounting optics aside from the Aimpoint Micro.

I followed your cheek-riser posts at the time and I'm sure it makes the stock much better. In the end, I already had a nice NR Swiss Carbine, and didn't really need another heavy piston rifle. :) Mine was also very accurate - it just didn't check my boxes so they moved on. I thought I would like the R version better... and YES i did... but I already have nice R .223 blasters... so it moved.

Out of all my guns, I'd say my APC-9 is one of my favourites.. well balanced, folder cuts it in almost half, fits nice, comes with a quality red dot which suits it perfect.

Just two beefs:

-They installed the mag pin just a little to high, so that 5th round will not allow the bolt to cycle with a full (5) round mag inserted, on ALL mags.
-The safety is a pain, just like my other B&T guns, and all others I've held, hard to push and digs into hands (unless you have small feminine hands)
