As I have stated a couple of times in this thread, it is going to be up to the RCMP...and getting them to make any decisions isn't just a snap of the fingers. We are hoping it will be classed as a pistol but until the FRT is approved and the unit is approved we have no way of saying.

I agree, somewhat. My first choice is 9mm (not .380), then 7.62X25 (if at all possible, like Mr. Wolverine warns about the pressure).
At 1410.00, I'm in defintely, but only if it's a pistol with 10 rd mags. I'm not going to bother with yet another faux-SMG neutered to 5 rounds, like the Vz.61, et al. Takes half the fun out of it. Crossing my fingers this is a pistol. ;-P

We applied for an FRT but the RCMP required a sample for examination before proceeding, we never pursued this due to lack of interest.
We could move this project forward if the demand is there, but I am 90% certain that mags would have to be limited to 5 rds.

Ok, thanks for the heads-up. I must admit I sold my TP-9 many years ago because of the 5rd thing. Not sure why it bugged me more then rifles, maybe because your pistols can hold 10 and it just rubs you wrong. That being said I got to say the TP9 shot amazing, shockingly so for the size. I miss it sometimes and the smaller size of the TP380 is enticing. Cheers.
