Vortex scopes any opinions out there?? I did a search with negative results.

Suppose to be lifetime no hassle warranty, looked through a couple today glass seems fine but I am no professional.

I have been using Vortex optics for over a year now and I really like them. They are better quality than others in their price range and they have a great warranty. The Canadian distributer is in Ontario so shipments are generally pretty quick.

Depends what it is going on. I had the crossfire(6-24x50AO) and it was there entry level scope(like a Bushnell 3200). But if i was to put one on my new hunting rifle, i would go with the viper series. Nice glass and a sweet price too. I looked at the Viper 6.5-20-50 AO and it was in the 600 mark plus tax. You cant buy a Bushnell 6500 or a luppy for that price(in that magnification). I would recomend there glass any day. Best bang for buck IMO.

Ive got a Viper 6.5 -20 on my T3 Varmint and can't tell the diff from my previous Leupold Mark 4. Great scope, the best warranty in the biz and prices that are affordable.
I also own a pair of their cheaper Vulture series binos, I was pleasantly surprised when they arrived and I used them last fall for whitetail hunting. Solid build, clear glass. .
Only fault I can see in Vortex is the silly names they put behind their product...which has no effect on anything.

Cheers!!
