I am looking at the Baby in 9mm for target shooting.
I like the design, and it has adjustable sites.

Before I order feel free to point out a pistol I may like :)

I am returning to the sport after 20 years. I did shoot a 1911 in .45.
I'd prefer adjustable sights. Search turned up nothing related.

Thanks

The jericho 941 baby eagle is a fantastic piece. You would be hard pressed to find a better quality pistol for more than double it's $600 price tag.

The baby eagle (aka Jericho 941) is very similar internally to a cz75 or tanfoglio. I think its a good gun for casual range shooting and action shooting games. It's all personal preference. Some will say that the safety is in a weird spot , it doesn't bother me.

I wouldn't say its a 'Target' gun. If you mean serious bullseye shooting, I think the common choices are along the lines of a S&W 952, Sig X-5, 1911 Variants and CZ 75 Tactical Sport. They are fairly expensive though.

Try Freedom Ventures, he has some nice tanfoglio's that are very similiar to the baby eagle.

The L, and Match are very nice.

I shot a 1911 in .45 as my last pistol. I'm going with the 9mm more
as a money saver until my skills come around again, but I am comfortable
with the 1911 style chambered in 9mm rather than 45.

Maybe I'll give it some more thought.

Thanks again

Check out the STI Spartan, its a 9mm 1911 that is reasonably priced ~$750, the best under $1000 and I have never heard anything bad about it. People say the current batch of Norinco NP-29 (9mm 1911) is also good (its around $350), I haven't played with one so I don't really know if its true.
