So I finally got around to cleaning my very first pistol, a Baby Eagle 9mm that I picked up for a nice price, and I was wondering if anyone knew how to safely detail strip it. The instructions only include how to field strip (slide, recoil spring, barrel, lower receiver), but not detail strip.
I didnt find any instructions online via google and apparently it's "not necessary" according to the manual, but I'd like to get in there, if it is possible without going to a gunsmith. On the other hand, I dont want to randomly start pulling pins out and unscrewing screws.
Are there any more "easily accessible" parts that should be cleaned that aren't necessarily covered in the manual?
