looked like the damn thing shot a lightning bolt out the business end...

you should see the flames that come out of a DE 44 mag.

i bet but this was different, usually i see the little fluff of flame, this was the usual fluff with a jagged lightning bolt coming out the side

I used to love shooting my ported .44mag that was lots of fun! 'V' shaped flame is neat.
