What does my Post count have to do with anything??
This post is just so wrong on so many counts.Dont waste your time on anything with a desert eagle stamp. Just a big Paperweight IMO. Heavy, Unreliable and inaccurate. For the price you pay for that mini, you can have a far better pistol... Look around.
So does the high end Tanfoglios - they shoot lead and plated ammo very well. These guns are not effected the same as the Glocks (which have hexagonal barrels - very different!) and in fact, that polygonal barrel actually compensates for poor ammo better than a standard barrel design. See the posts of Relliot in the action shooting games section regarding tanfoglio barrels and accuracy.I have handled one but not fired. It seemed like a decent piece. I ended up not buying due to the fact that BE has polygonal barrel. That would put feeding lead reloads to it out of question.

The Baby Eagles are manufactured for IWI / IMI by Tanfoglio.
Really? I thought the Jericho was developed by IWI, why would they sub out manufacturing?

#1. Compare apples to apples. The Desert Eagles are manufactured for Magnum Research by IMI/IWI. They are what they are - big boomers that appeal to a certain section of the shooting community. They are gas powered with rotating bolts. The Baby Eagles are manufactured for IWI / IMI by Tanfoglio, using traditional design. They are built with heavy dustcovers to minimize recoil impulse. They weight approximately the same as a Tanfoglio Stock or CZ Shadow / SP-01
#2. What high price? Baby Eagles are $842 MSRP. That is exactly in the CZ market and base Tanfoglio market. More expensive than Glocks and M&Ps and Rugers, but the CZ design is a superior target pistol to those and demands a better price anyway.
#3. Accuracy? Accuracy is on par with any wonder nine. There are few people on this board that have the ability to outshoot a baby eagle's accuracy capabilities, including me.
Brado23, it's worth looking at.
