Hey Guys;

Long story short... I've had a Baby Mojo spinning wing decoy for years, installed a decoy modulator, w w w.decoymodulator.com and used it with NO problems. And yes, the on/off cycles make the decoy MUCH more effective later in the year when the ducks wise up...

Anyhow, I recently bought another Baby Mojo & noticed that they now make a "Self Timer" which plugs directly into the wiring harness of the decoy, so I bought it &... For the life of me, I can not get it programmed!!! Here's their link; http://w w w.mojooutdoors.com/prod_HW9003_mojo-self-timer.htm

And yes, it came with simple instructions, which I've followed... Doesn't seem to matter, when I start up the decoy, it seems to have a "morse code" on/off program "pre-programmed" in it... Very short on/off "blips" for the cycle, just MESSED up...

Anyhow, anyone have any experience with these? Any way to "wipe" the memory on the circuit & or re-program this darn thing?

I'm on the verge of ordering another decoymodulator, which I know WORKS...

Thanks in Advance.

Cheers
Jay

sorry I can`t help with your question but was wondering if you bought the modulator locally or ordered it through their website.

Hey Mini-moose, I got the modulator shipped from macks prairie wings.

I might just order the decoymodulator... I know it works...

It says on the website it doesn't work with the remote, could this be your problem?
MOJO-Decoy-Wiring-Diagram.jpg

Judging by the diagram the self timer would plug into the connector (MOLEX?) that would go to the remote, so I'm not sure if its even possible to have that problem...

Your right diemaco, it does not work with the remote. But I don't have the remote version of the decoys...

It does plug into the connector, just can't seem to get it programmed with the cycles I want, ugh.

I can't believe no one has this setup??? No one has experience with the "self timer" and a Mojo decoy???

Cheers

Sorry, I have the mojo and the modulator. They work great.

So do I, in my first decoy. I bought another Baby Mojo & discovered that Mojo makes a plug in Self Timer, which "should" do the same thing & allow you to set on/off cycles for the spinning... In my case, I can not FOR THE LIFE OF ME, get it to accept a new program!!!

Still really shocked that no one has experience with these on here and could provide insight.

Anyhow, I got a refund for the self timer from Macks Prairie Wings & just ordered another decoy modulator... I know that one works!

Had this problem with both my Mojo mallrds last season. If the batteries( the ones in the decoy) are not putting out full capacity the remote wont work. I replaced one battery that wouldnt take a charge and re-charged the other one for a second time overnight and wha-la, remote worked!
