Back-Bored Choke sizing

Choke constriction is a % of the bore diameter . So yes a .742" bore is going to have a bigger diameter choke constriction for the same choke mod . IC than a standard size bore 0f .729 in a 12 gauge . The only true way to determine the best choke is to paper test the load choke combonation .

Perhaps someone near you has a bore gauge. That way, you can accurately measure the bore of the barrel and then determine your actual choke.
