Just got home from my 3 week Safari in South Africa (wow) We hunted in Zululand,East Cape and Northern Cape.
I used my 375 H+H loaded with Branes TSX 300 gr @ 2550 fps,With it I took 7 animals Impala to Cape Buffalo it worked great as it has been doing for years.
I had the 3x9x40 Trijijon Accu-Point with the crosshairs plus the green dot,what a great scope.
Will try to get some pic's up.

The 300 gr TSX worked awsome on everything.On the Buffalo 1 shot thru the lungs at about 80 yds went right thru,when we got up to it I put another thru the chest into shoulder that the skinner found on the far side hide it still had 296 grs with the perfect four pedal mushroom.

How far did it travel after the first shot, and did you have to shoot it again to put it down or was it on the ground already?
 
The Buffalo went about 100-150 yds but was down when we got to it.
The second shot the PH had me put in as insurance.
