A plain Jane .243 Win. CDL barreled action that is MUCH to accurate to rip apart. McMillan compact, Rifle Basix trigger, and PT&G aluminum "Oberndorf" bottom metal. 7lbs 6.2ozs, Of course the Talley LW's and 3.5-10X40 VXIII that will probably go in the mail this week for an M1. Lapua brass and 105 A-Max's should be here any day.

Very nice...the plain vanilla 243 is one of those overlooked...and underappreciated cartridges IMHO....That's pretty close to what I'm planning for my lefty son, but in 7-08 or 260....bought a lefty SPS Varmint today for the action...the die is cast....:)

when you get tired of that one let me know...:D

I hate to admit something like this in public and please don't pass this on, but I could get used to a 243/7mm-08 combo on this blueprint. It balances and points real nice.

Please buy some Leupold Alumina lens caps for that scope. They will complete the package nicely. I have them on all my Leupys. Standard thread so they don't fit Japanese made scopes if anyone's asking.
