BACK IN STOCK: Adler Arms RF224 Tactical Semi Auto Rimfire Rifle, 22 LR 11.7” Barrel

Thanks Ted, I have one of those and I've found they're better to stay on the magazine than to use the integrated release. For that reason, wondering if a simpler/cheaper Turkish-made one is coming with these guns? If available separately and inexpensive, I'll buy several and mount them to 597 mags permanently.

The thinking anyway.
There's a few 3D printer guys on here.
I don't, but it seems it would be right up their Alley of something that can be easily 3d printed... .No?

I got mine this morning. Looks and feels really good. Everything seems to be aluminum minus the trigger guard and other bits.

I tried it briefly and it doesn’t like CCI semi-auto subsonic. Got maybe three shots off before a failure to eject.

I’ve got a busy day, with family visiting, and a stuck in the mud tractor. I’ll try and run some Stinger and Mini-mags later.

I’m fairly confident that some hyper velocity, or mini mags, will get it running smoothly, as feeding was fine and hand ejecting was fine but the bolt didn’t have enough velocity to send the spent case out - at first it was leaving them in the chamber, then it was leaving the case between the bolt and chamber, while trying to eject. Thus, leading me to believe that things had been improving.

Sorry guys, only 25 rounds down the pipe, of low velocity ammo.

This rifle is the ultimate cuckmobile. It’s like driving your ex wife’s Honda odesey as a man after she left you and took your truck and gave it to her new boyfriend. Nobody wants that for a friend. I hope these things all suffer catastrophic failures and all the owners of these “Turkish specialties” cry a river deep enough I can swim in. The rest of us will play sad music on the worlds smallest violin while you wait for your compensation cheque we all know is never coming.

Did I miss something? It looks like a fun short barrel 22 rifle that takes 10/22 mags. A lot of people have been asking for something like this for a while. I'm not sure it's worth getting all emotionally distraught over. Everything is going to be ok.

^^^ This guy speaks from experience lol.

I’m getting tired of guns being banned, importers finding an alternative to bring to the market, then those being banned, then importers scrounging the far corners of the world to find new alternatives to bring to market then those being banned then…
you can see where I’m going.

I cant believe how many 22s were banned on the list.

I appreciate that dealers have an adapt and overcome attitude.

Where I live I can shoot whatever the F* I want. I’m in the middle of nowhere and could have an all out firefight with a heavy machine gun - nobody would know, and nobody would care.

I bought this because it’s cool, not because anything is banned.

I echo your frustration tho; This government is wildly deceitful and crooked.

I joined this site in 2013 , my options were SU16 and Rob arms XCR-L , then came the Alberta Tactical modern hunter, and here we are, Deja vu only worst

They're trying to adapt to the Canadian market and make stuff we can still own. We're all pissed off, but I'm not going to direct my frustration toward companies who are still willing to cater to our situation. It sucks yes, but it's our government's doing. Would you rather all of these manufacturers just see us as a lost cause and give up?

I have several Turkish guns and they're all awesome. Deryas, Caniks, Benelli clones, etc, but man, I will say that some of the rifles that are coming out now are so ugly with these ultra modern angular/geometric designs and pencil barrels. IMO they don't quite have a firm grasp on the tactical aesthetics that appeal to a North American market. I do appreciate the effort though, and some, like this Adler shorty are pretty decent and not quite as "loud" looking. If they prove to be reliable, I'll buy one.

Totally agree with you. This is another way we can continue our hobby and keep outgunning these incompetent fools in Ottawa. They ban it, we find a new item, etc. One of the anti-gun hags was interviewed this week and raised this very thing...so we have to do it.
