back to pistols - what to get?

Hi gang,

I am getting back to shooting sports and eyeing pistols, have restricted license but did not buy anything yet. I used to shoot 22 pistols when I was like 14, but details are fuzzy now some 25 years later. I remember Margolin was the name of the gun and we were shooting from 25m at rather big oval shaped targets.

Now, what would be shooting sports involving pistols, and what flock would you recommend to join. Going from there I need and advice on the gun as well. Is sport pistol still popular? I mean that one hand operation kinda thing? With wooden handle and all adjustable grip? Or would I be better off shootin' bigger caliber and running between the targets and droppin' clips like in a cowboy moovie?

yup you will have lot more fun shooting IPSC , get a CZ SPZ01 and shoot production

9mm is cheaper to shoot than 45acp. Take a look at Glock's, CZ's and the refurb Sig's.

Put a factory referb sig next to a new one and the only real way to tell the difference will be the price tag ... ohhh and the nice red case it comes in.

look into a used smith&wesson or a new ruger 357. 38 special is real cheap, and you have the option of full house 357's as well.
