Back to the 80's - a review of an Old School sniper set up

Here's a European 1980's sniper rifle for ya Bob;) (1988 for the L96A1/AW version) and she can still keep up with all the newer toys no problem.

Ah, yes - of course ! Timeless and a thing of beauty. In the GWOT such a fine instrument has, courtesy of H.M. Forces, sent a fair few of the faithfull to meet Mohammed, Peace Be Upon Him :)

Indeed! I should have said L118A1 (AW in British service 1988) the L96A1 is the older PM rifle from 1985. It's amazing how many of them are still running over 25 years later with the Brits, Irish, Kiwis, Aussies, Swedes ect. Built like an Anvil ( and about as heavy haha!)

For sure a neat read

When I was younger missed a smoking deal on a 700p .308 with a Mark 4 scope. Still kicking my ass to this day!

Beautiful guns for sure!

That L96A1 is something else!!! Very Jealous! Nice rig!

Just for my education: I understand that the rem 700P was a sniper's rifle in the 80's in the police forces but isn't it still today?
I am a bit of a newb so pardon my ignorance.
