I’ve had my Gen 2 Backland Hunter since April and, honestly, everything has been working great after getting it broken in. The only thing I really don’t like is the trigger, it still feels like I’m shooting a shotgun 
I understand the newer Backland Hunter Comp now comes with an AR-style trigger group. Has anyone tried upgrading the trigger group on the Gen 2 Hunter elite? i understand the trigger group is from a Benelli M4. I’d really rather not spend another ~$2K just to get the Comp model (not sure about its reliability either )if I can upgrade what I already have.
Would love to hear from anyone who has actually tried it.
