backpacker pack

looking for some bag opinions.

i just bought myself one of those short norc .22's
of course it is just a little to long to fit in my bag.
(i want to be able to completely close the bag)
(rifle completely out of sight)
so i am looking for a pack that is at least 31 inches deep, and is frame-less.

any ideas.

how are the qualities of zippers,seems and material in general

It's a heavy bag that's built like a brick s**t house, has taken everything I've thrown at it. The zippers are fantastic, without a doubt the best on anything I've owned.

did you get the g2 or g1

and how deep is your bag with out deploying the bottom scabard

Without deploying the bottom or top it's 23", with the bottom extended it's 31 1/2", and with the bottom and top deployed it's 48".
