well i was going to wait to measure it myself but mind as well ask...whats the OAL? also is it only chambered for 2 3/4 or will it shoot 3&3 1/2? cant wait for a brown box at my door!

When you use the drop-down menu on the sight and change it to 16 Gauge the info changes and says 30 inch barrel

OAL on mine was around 28.25" if I remember correctly (no longer have it or I'd go measure). Chambered for 2 3/4" and 3"

Been waiting a long time for this. Ordered one backpacker and a wool blanket. Then had to add a box of .22 ammo to bump it over $200 for free shipping. Hope Canam doesn't think I am a duche for ordering just over $200. It was hard enough to convince the wife to let me spend that much. She just doesn't understand.
It's cheaper than driving (two ferry fares plus the really well-planned lower-mainlandtraffic flow (hahahahaha)) and the day lost in travel...

Front sight too low from the factory.(needs a new front sight)
Sharp metal edges need de tuning here and there ( muzzle and action release).
Heavy overall for the size and wood stock feels a bit chunky in the hand ( could use a re contour of the pistol grip)
Uses an extractor instead of an ejector.
Cheap and unique gun that is a good candidate for shotgun sub caliber adapters.

not too turn this thread into something else, or put words in 6011's mouth, but i think what he meant (and correct me if i'm wrong) is that he has been waiting a long time for the backpackers to come back into stock...not that he has been waiting a long time for his order to arrive. this thread is only 6 days old...the posties could hardly get it to your house in 6 days never mind all the other stuff that has to happen first.
